Contains correspondence, reports, pamphlets, notes, etc., primarily covering 1955 to 1970, from the Public Health Federation, the Central Psychiatric Clinic, the University of Cincinnati Departments of Psychiatry and Social Work, Dunham Hospital, and the Ohio Comprehensive Mental Health Planning Project. The collection has articles by Marquette and others about housing, health and health education in the United States and foreign countries, including Lyndon B. Johnson's "Message on America's Unfinished Business: Urban and Rural Poverty." There are also a few pieces of correspondence concerning Glendale city planning.

Bleecker Marquette came to Cincinnati in 1918 as chairman of the Better Housing League. In 1921 he was appointed executive secretary of the Public Health Federation. He was active in the fields of health, mental hygiene, housing and city planning. Despite retiring in 1954, Marquette continued to serve as a consultant to the University of Cincinnati Department of Psychiatry and to the Better Housing League.
